Today, rebecca's best friend flew in from Germany and she is an ethnomusicologist. I am so excited to see her work with the girls!
We went to the market today called - Surojini and went shopping, we all got amazing deals on clothes and other items =)
Then Michelle and I prepared a dance for next week called Aal Iz Well! Its going to be a fun song to teach the girls in the Home next week.
26Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast before him.(1 Corinthians 1:26-29).
I am not a professional dancer, and to be honest my dance moves are so amateur, however God took a foolish vessel such as myself to bring light into a world that is broken and dark. How he could use me in such a way will always be a mystery... but it just goes to show that he uses the weak and the foolish (me) to bring glory to His name.. and really I truly cannot boast because it was God alone who gave me what I have ... and used the little that I have bring hearts to Him.
