I know that God will supply all my needs, he will give me the desires of my heart, he will keep me safe as long as I trust in him... etc.... well the thing is that knowing all of this is not enough.
As Christians, we often times need motivation to pray. We cannot just believe in these things. We need to seek God, get on our knees and pray. Even though he knows what we need before we ask him - Matthew 6:32, we still need to come to him in prayer.
Prayer has immense power, and I can only speak for myself when I say that I underestimate what it can do in my life. Solely believing in what God can do in my life is one thing, but coming to God on a regular basis with my needs and worship is another.
We need this connection with God so that our relationship with him can grow stronger- after all, the more you talk to your friends, the better the friendship is right?
